Before Migration: The Customer Makes One Decision
When the current line no longer suits the website, the customer selects a new target from compatible nodes allowed by the product.
NNS determines the required files, databases, accounts, and operational settings from the real hosting state, preventing critical data from being missed.
Request: Payment and Migration Stay Separate
One-click migration is an independent service. Confirming the target creates a migration invoice, and payment starts the task without treating the fee as hosting renewal.
If an unpaid migration invoice already exists, the customer returns to that invoice instead of creating duplicates.
Preparation: Confirm the Target Can Take Over
The task verifies product eligibility, platform compatibility, node availability, and required migration capabilities.
Linux moves only to compatible Linux nodes, and Windows moves only to compatible Windows nodes. Migration does not rewrite an application for another operating system.
Transfer: A Website Is More Than a Folder
Files, databases, account relationships, runtime versions, rewrites, redirects, protected directories, and other required settings enter the same migration process.
The service page displays the current step and overall progress instead of an unexplained “processing” state.
Switch: Why a Brief Pause Is Required
During the final stage, writes to the source website are briefly paused while the last data synchronization is completed.
This keeps files and databases at the same point in time and avoids combining new files with old database data.
Takeover: The Target Must Prove It Works
NNS checks the target website, database, accounts, and required settings before completion.
The client area then updates the node, complimentary domain, FTP host, and management relationship. Customers should confirm DNS for their own domains using the target instructions.
Cleanup: No Conflicting Second Copy
After successful takeover, the old source service is removed. This prevents two conflicting copies and keeps future migration back to the original node possible.
Critical source residue is not hidden behind a false success result.
After Completion
The service page retains the result and progress summary. Target selection becomes available again after the cooldown period.
Existing NNS SSL Automation and NNS AI Security Shield entitlements follow the hosting service and are applied on the new node without another purchase.
NNS One-Click Migration turns an error-prone website move into a task with a target, progress, validation, and final cleanup.
